We collect only what we need to arrange deliveries and driver coverage:

• Customers: your name, phone number, delivery and pickup addresses, order details, and the payment method you choose.
• Businesses and restaurants: business name, owner or contact name, phone number, and the shifts you need covered.
• Drivers: name, phone number, city, vehicle type, and the days and times you're available.
• Messages: the content of texts, calls, and messages you send us, such as scheduling requests.
• Website basics: standard technical data from your browser, such as device type and pages visited, which our hosting provider may collect automatically.

How we use it

• To complete and coordinate deliveries
• To match drivers with restaurants and businesses
• To schedule shifts and send confirmations, reminders, and updates
• To answer your questions and give you customer support
• To bill our service fee and keep basic business records
• To keep our service safe and meet our legal obligations

Text messages (SMS)

If you give us your phone number and agree to receive texts, Help-In-Hand may text you about scheduling, shift assignments, delivery updates, and service notices. The number of messages varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Information about your opt-in to texts is never shared with any third party, except with service providers that help us deliver the messages.

We do not sell your information

Help-In-Hand does not sell your personal information. We share it only:

• Between the parties to a job. A driver gets the delivery or shift details needed to do the work, and a restaurant gets the name and phone number of the driver assigned to it.
• With service providers who help us run the business, such as phone and texting services, website hosting, and payment apps (Zelle, Cash App, PayPal). They may use your information only to provide their services to us.
• When the law requires it, or when we need to protect the rights or safety of people or our business.

How long we keep it

We keep information only for as long as we need it to provide our services and keep reasonable business records. After that, we delete it or make it anonymous.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. No method of storing or sending data is 100% secure, but we limit access to the people who need it to do the job.

Your choices: access, correction, and deletion

You can ask us to:

• show you the personal information we hold about you,
• correct anything that's wrong, or
• delete your information.

To make a request, contact us using the details below. We'll respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we may keep certain records if the law requires it.

Children

Our services are not meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.
